Telehealth Mental Health Services
We are available to help wherever you are
Access treatment with greater convenience
Sureway Health and Wellbeing delivers counselling services via telehealth
NDIS Telehealth sessions are like regular psychology and counselling sessions, but we talk online or over the phone.
This means you can access the services you need, with a qualified professional, from the comfort of your own home or any location with internet and/or phone access. Telehealth counselling services can help to overcome geographical barriers, save travel time, and maintain continuity of care, especially in situations where in-person visits may be challenging.
Telehealth appointments are available during business and after hours. Speak with our team about our current availability.

It is important that you feel comfortable and trust your treating professional.
Our experienced team of psychologists, counsellors and social workers create safe and non-judgmental spaces for you to explore your concerns, develop solutions-focused coping strategies, and promote overall emotional wellbeing.
With a person-centered approach, our team will treat you with respect and work collaboratively with you to achieve your goals.
Our psychologists may employ a range of therapeutic approaches in their work, including:
What to expect
Telehealth psychology and counselling sessions generally run for 50 minutes.
During your initial appointment, we aim to gain a full understanding of you and your situation. We will then work with you on developing goals and identifying issues you wish to address and changes you wish to achieve.
Together we will regularly review your progress and goals. The frequency of follow-up sessions will vary depending on your situation and goals, and you will be involved in the planning of your care.
If you prefer a phone session, or if you experience technical issues with a video call, your therapist will call your mobile from a private number.
A few things to note for your telehealth session with your psychologist
Choose a confidential and quiet space that you feel comfortable in. Try to remove any distractions such as family or phones.
It is best to wear headphones to minimise the amount of background noise, but don’t worry if you don’t have these.
If you are having an online video session, select a well-lit area and position your camera so that your face is in frame.
Test your internet speed ahead of time. If your connection is weak, try turning off your camera and using audio-only, or join via phone.
