We recognise that seeking support can be a vulnerable experience, and that’s why our team is dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming environment for every individual who walks through our doors. With their extensive expertise and compassionate approach, our team members will take time to listen and to work with your specific needs.

We service Australia-wide, with a range of convenient locations across VIC, NSW, SA and ACT. Telehealth appointments are also available with all of our team members so that you can access the services you need, regardless of your location or circumstances.

Dr Kylie Wainwright

Clinical Psychologist

Available at: Eltham, VIC

Dr Kylie Wainwright is a Clinical Psychologist and has a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Melbourne. She has been a psychologist for over 25 years and has been working in private practice to some extent for over 20 years. Kylie also has experience in running a private practice and has worked in a variety of other settings including juvenile justice, public mental health community clinics, hospital in-patient and out-patient clinics, and a local secondary school. She has extensive experience working with children, adolescents and adults. Kylie prides herself on her ability to engage well with clients and make them feel at ease, even those who are reluctant attenders such as resistant teenagers! She can work with clients presenting with a variety of problems including depression, anxiety disorders, grief and loss, social difficulties, school challenges, emotional dysregulation, self-harm and child behavioural problems. Kylie likes to use humour and creative approaches in her work, but also uses a variety of evidence-based techniques in her therapeutic approach including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Jandi Crocker

Clinical Psychologist

Jandi is a Clinical Psychologist who has worked in mental health for over 12 years and works with children, adolescents and adults. She has worked in community mental health, various school settings, and private practice. Jandi has a warm and empathic approach and is trained in a number of evidence based therapies including Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Play Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). She has experience working with many issues including depression, anxiety, interpersonal and relationship issues, school avoidance, self-harm, difficulties with self-esteem and confidence. Jandi understands that seeing a psychologist can be daunting, and places a strong emphasis on connection, rapport, and building trust. When working with young people in particular, Jandi offers a more relaxed approach to counselling, and incorporates ‘walk and talk’ therapy if desired.

Dr Karen Perrin

Registered Psychologist

Karen is a Registered Psychologist with AHPRA and a member of the Australian Psychological Society. Karen has completed a Doctor of Psychology with General Registration. Karen has experience working with children and adults across a broad range of presentations. Karen utilises various evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-focused Therapy, Mindfulness-based Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.

Karen has worked with adults who are experiencing significant life transitions, work-related stress, are seeking help with relationships, difficult parenting, grief and loss, anxiety disorders and depression.

Karen acknowledges the diversity of her client’s experiences and aims to create an open, empathic and non-judgemental space for clients to explore their concerns and work towards resolution.

In her free time, Karen enjoys creative pursuits.

Shraddha Patel

General Registered Psychologist

Shraddha Patel is a general registered psychologist. Holding a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, she brings extensive experience in addressing a spectrum of mental health concerns. Her practice focuses on supporting individuals coping with depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, substance use, ADHD, ASD and self-harm. With a compassionate approach, she has successfully worked with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults.

Utilising evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, CBT-E, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

She is dedicated to fostering positive outcomes, promoting holistic well-being by providing an atmosphere of empathy and acceptance. Her aim is to empower individuals to explore their challenges openly and work towards meaningful growth and healing.


Jenny Lindros

Psychologist

Available at: Eltham, VIC

Jenny has extensive experience working with students of all ages and their families. She specialises in assessing and counselling school aged children from 4-18 years, as well as providing counselling to parents and other adults presenting with a variety of mental health issues including depression and anxiety. Jenny has a special interest in family therapy, parenting concerns, and managing challenging behaviours. She also provides hypnosis for children to overcome fears and phobias and can assess children for Autism, ADHD, and other concerns.

Jeanne Snider

Psychologist

​Jeanne has been a registered psychologist for over 15 years, having worked in a variety of settings. She has a passion for supporting her clients to increase their wellbeing and self-esteem in order to live their best life.

​She enjoys working with older adolescents, adults and couples, across a wide range of concerns including relationships, stress and anxiety, depression, workplace and career issues.

​Jeanne uses a variety of therapeutic approaches including Humanistic, CBT, and ACT. ​Jeanne can also offer career counselling sessions.

David Hayler

Psychologist

David is a registered psychologist. He has completed an undergraduate degree in psychology and a master’s degree in clinical neuropsychology.

David has experience working with clients who present with a range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, PTSD and complex trauma.

Prior to working at Sureway Health & Wellbeing, David gained extensive experience in occupational rehabilitation, employment services, EAP and private practice settings.

Using a warm and nonjudgmental manner, David utilises a range of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Solution Focussed Brief Therapy (SFBT).

When not in the office, David enjoys keeping fit, pursuing his interests in aviation and technology, and spending time with his family.

Emily Barber

Psychologist

​Emily is a Psychologist, holding a Masters in Professional Psychology. She has experience working across the lifespan with a particular passion for working with adolescents and those in early adulthood.

Emily has experience in working with anxiety, depression, emotion regulation, self-harm, behavioural challenges, school refusal, low self-esteem, family challenges, and alcohol and drug use. In her therapies, she draws from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to develop person-centred interventions.

At the core of her services, Emily believes that the relationship between the client and therapist is an integral part of the process. She takes a collaborative approach, aiming to build confidence and communication skills whilst addressing other presenting problems.

In her spare time, you will find Emily running, at the beach, or spending time with her two dogs.

Fei Mo

Provisional Psychologist

Available at: Telehealth & Eltham, VIC

Fei Mo is a provisional psychologist who loves getting to know her clients and mapping a path forward together. Fei has a Masters in Professional Psychology. She has experience working with clients on the autism spectrum, clients from trauma backgrounds, and working across the lifespan.

Fei’s clients feel comfortable sharing with her as she listens deeply and provides a relaxed atmosphere. Fei takes a collaborative approach. She seeks to empower clients to understand their situation better and figure out the next steps to move towards their goals. Fei has a client-centred approach and applies Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to maximise session effectiveness. Seeing clients aged 16+ initially.

Outside of work Fei loves to learn new things. She enjoys strategy games, dancing, and floristry.

Samy Mahmoud

Provisional Psychologist

Samy is a Provisional Psychologist and Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society, with extensive experience in children’s group therapy and neuropsychological assessments, including children’s ADHD assessments. Samy is about to complete his provisional year and become a fully registered general psychologist specialising in seeing children, adolescents, and young adults ages 5+ to 22.

With a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours from Monash University, he has worked with NDIS clients, focusing on ADHD, Autism, and Intellectual disorders. Samy employs talk therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), supplemented by training in Applied Behaviour Analysis, the Cool Kids Anxiety Program, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and Advanced CBT. Proficient in neuropsychological assessments tailored for children, he utilises tools like WISC-V, Conners’ Rating Scales for ADHD, and ADOS-2 to inform individualised treatment plans.

Beyond work, Samy enjoys hiking, playing the guitar, and learning languages, integrating creativity and cultural appreciation into his therapeutic approach.

Esther Kleiner

Accredited Mental Health Social Worker

Esther is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with over 10 years’ counselling experience in various public and private health settings. She has worked in in-patient mental health wards, alcohol and other drug rehabilitation centres, community centres and private practice.

Esther has advanced skills in Motivational Interviewing (MI) and trains other practitioners in this therapeutic approach. She also practises Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Single Session Family Therapy, trauma work, and uses a person-centred approach in her therapy. Esther works with clients with a myriad of presenting problems including depression, anxiety, substance use, grief and loss, trauma, psychological impacts of cancer and other life-threatening conditions, and perinatal and postnatal depression.

Esther is able to service clients with Mental Health Treatment Plans and NDIS plans.

Florence Poni

Accredited Mental Health Social Worker

Florence is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker who is Level 1 EMDR Trained. Florence has provided counselling and support in a variety of clinical settings in both metropolitan and regional Australia.

Florence works with individuals, couples, and families. She is a Family Violence specialist and has worked in the field of alcohol and other addictions. Florence specialises in couples therapy, family violence, grief and loss, low self-esteem/confidence, identity crisis issues, anxiety, stress, depression, bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder (BPD). She has worked with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients, culturally and linguistically diverse clients, and clients from the LGBTQI community.

Florence has trained in Narrative therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotional Freedom Therapy (EFT), Motivational Interviewing, Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solutions Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Single Session Therapy, and Gottman’s Couples Therapy. Florence tailors her therapeutic approach based on her client’s needs and preferences.

Florence is able to service clients with Mental Health Treatment Plans and NDIS plans.

Dr. Judy Betts

Counsellor

Judy is an accredited clinical counsellor with over twenty years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families.

Judy works with a myriad of presentations including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, addictions, family violence, personality disorders, and crisis intervention. She has worked with clients from a range of different backgrounds including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, refugees, and clients from the LGBTQI community.

Judy has attained a Doctorate of Counselling and has completed extensive postgraduate training in Crisis and Trauma Counselling, Trauma Informed Therapy, Grief and Loss Therapy, Developmental Counselling, Addictions Therapy, Family Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Strengths-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Narrative Therapy, Gottman’s Couples Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Judy is able to service clients with NDIS plans.

Rochelle Marshall

Social Worker

Rochelle is a Social Worker with counselling and case management experience. She has worked in various disability sectors and in school settings.

Rochelle has trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Solutions Focused Therapy, Empowerment Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

Rochelle works with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship and family difficulties, low self-esteem, gender and sexual identity issues, and substance use. She has a special interest in working with people with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and people in the LGBTQI community.

Rochelle is able to service clients with NDIS plans.

Denise Martin

NDIS Support Coordinator / Psychosocial Recovery Coach

As a dedicated NDIS Support Coordinator/Psychosocial Recovery Coach, Denise is passionate about empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and enhance their quality of life.  Denise is compassionate and dedicated with a strong commitment to supporting individuals with mental health challenges in their journey towards recovery and well-being. 

With a strong background in various roles in disability services and a deep understanding of the NDIS framework, Denise provides personalised, empathetic, and effective support to clients and their families to ensure clients receive appropriate funding and access to services that align with their NDIS goals. 

Denise supports clients in identifying their strengths, setting meaningful goals, and navigating their NDIS journey and path to recovery with confidence and resilience. By offering compassionate and client-focused support, she aims to help individuals overcome challenges and achieve a fulfilling and balanced life.

Samantha Harbinson

NDIS Support Coordinator and School Leaver Employment Supports Consultant

Samantha is a passionate advocate for disability rights and empowerment, with a career dedicated to supporting individuals through the NDIS and disability employment services.

Originally drawn to this field through personal experiences with disability within her own family, Samantha commenced working in disability employment services and has now broadened her scope to NDIS Support Coordination and School Leaver Employment Supports. She finds immense fulfillment in assisting clients to identifying their career aspirations, enhancing job readiness skills, and fostering connections with supportive employers. 

Beyond direct client support, Samantha is deeply engaged in advocacy efforts aimed at improving accessibility and inclusivity within our communities. Samantha strives to amplify the voices of individuals with disabilities to advocate for themselves.

Robin Walker

Support Coordinator & Recovery Coach

Robin has a range of experience from previous roles within the disability sector including Local Area Coordinator, Workplace Trainer, and Disability Employment Consultant. With a wealth of knowledge of all things NDIS and local providers, Robin enjoys working with participants to make their NDIS journey the best experience possible.

Robin is currently studying a Bachelor Degree of Psychology at Deakin University and has recently completed Youth Mental Health First Aid. With 20 years’ of personal experience of mental health through family and friends, Robin is well skilled to help others on their journey.

In her spare time, Robin has a passion for sports and volunteers her time to All Abilities sport and delivers youth mental health sessions in the local area.
